How long does each therapy session take?
Individual Therapy Sessions
Individual therapy sessions are typically 45 minutes to an hour in length. This allows for enough time to focus on the specific needs of the client and to make progress towards their goals. The frequency of sessions will vary depending on the client's needs and progress.
Group Therapy Sessions
Group therapy sessions are typically 2 hours in length. This allows for enough time for the group to explore a range of topics and for members to get to know each other. Groups can be open-ended or closed, and they can focus on a specific topic or be more general in nature.
Do you take insurance?
At this time we currently accept the following insurance providers: Atena, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and United/Optum.
If we do not accept your insurance provider, we are committed to making our services as accessible as possible. We will work with you to obtain reimbursement from your insurance company. We will provide you with a letter of service that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Please note that the amount of reimbursement you receive will vary depending on your insurance plan. We encourage you to contact your insurance company to inquire about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
Do you offer sliding scale rates?
Yes, we do offer sliding scale rates. We believe that everyone should have access to quality mental health care, regardless of their ability to pay. Our sliding scale rates are based on your income and household size. We will work with you to find a rate that is affordable for you.
Where are sessions offered?
Currently, we offer therapy sessions exclusively through virtual platforms. Our convenient virtual sessions allow you to receive quality mental health care from the comfort of your own home or anywhere with a secure internet connection.
We are excited to announce that we will soon be opening an office location. This will provide our clients with the option of attending in-person sessions in addition to our virtual services. Stay tuned for more updates on our office opening.
Are you currently accepting new patients?
