About Me

Hey, I am T'Kea McClendon, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I hail from Milwaukee, WI, and relocated to Houston, TX in early 2021 seeking a "fresh start". I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Social Welfare from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master's in Clinical Psychology. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Capella University. I am licensed to practice in both Texas and Georgia on a provisional basis since May 2022.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse clientele, including adults, geriatric individuals, minors, refugees, veterans, couples, and families. I have provided therapeutic services in various settings, including offices, crisis call centers, homes, schools, correctional facilities, and psychiatric hospitals.

My experiences have instilled in me a profound appreciation for the continuous process of growth. Just as a garden flourishes with care and nurturing, so do we. I am committed to empowering individuals to cultivate their own personal growth and well-being.
